Despite the poor weather LHTS thoroughly enjoyed performing at 2 events to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee on Monday 4th June. The first at Gadebridge Park in Hemel Hempstead was very soggy and all the dancers did a brilliant job of performing and dancing in such difficult conditions. There was lots of slipping and sliding about and everyone was very wet, grassy and muddy by the end! On the plus side the landings were soft and there was a large and very appreciative audience! The dancers then all cleaned up for their second performance at Pages Park in Leighton Buzzard. This was dryer underfoot and by then the sun was even trying to show its face. I’m sure the Queen would have been very proud of you all!
