We run weekly dance classes for adults in the three dance disciplines, ballet, tap and modern dance. The classes are either 45 minutes or an hour long depending on the discipline and are currently held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
The classes follow a basic pattern of warm up session, exercises and then we usually finish with a short routine. There is an emphasis on fun, whilst learning or developing our dance skills. The age ranges of these classes is from 16-60s or older and whilst doing the same classes and exercises everyone works at their own level of comfort and ability.
When we hold our biennial shows the adult classes always include a number in the show (sometimes two) and these are often amongst the most eagerly anticipated and entertaining pieces of the show!!!
