We are Leighton Buzzards’ largest independent theatre school, offering classes in ISTD Ballet, Tap, Modern as well as Street Dance, Jazz, Contemporary,Musical Theatre and Singing Classes.  Adult classes in Ballet, Tap and Modern are also available.

Classes are held Monday to Saturday in our own premises. Children are welcome from 3 years old.  All of our professional staff are fully CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checked.

Since our inception in September 2002, we have achieved a 100% pass mark in examinations taken. Pupils from the school have successfully auditioned for, and accepted places at The Royal Ballet, London Senior Ballet School,Sylvia Young Theatre School,Tring Park School Classical Academy, Laine Theatre Arts, Performers College, Italia Conti, Bird College,Laban,Urdang, Masters and Stella Mann College-several of them with full or part scholarships. In addition pupils from LHTS have appeared in professional productions including in the last couple of years Billy Elliot, Oliver! and also Chitty Chitty Bang Bang all in London’s West End. We have also had students who have auditioned for and performed in the London Children’s Ballet production of Ballet Shoes and the English Youth Ballet’s Nutcracker and Coppelia-four again with scholarships. Over the last ten years the school has also supplied the dancers for several professional pantomimes alongside stars from the stage and screen. The school also enjoys continued success in dance festivals throughout the country and in the All England Competition including at the national finals in London.
